lyrics

When everything around you tends to wither,
when everything is so dark that nothing can germinate,
your passions become sterile acts of "return into beauty",
without the spontaneity that once fed them
or the poetry that flowed from that spirit
...so naive and pure.

In front of a fork road,
the promises break as soon as our projects change,
and paths diverge to never cross again.
It's hard to see in the distance
and have an hope for the future,
when life is so dark and unknown.

Tragedy is routine,
scars are what i wear since then.
Trauma drives my dreams every damn night,
nothing can relieve this pain.

There is no solution to this ruined existence,
my destiny has been written
and I'm imprisoned in time,
without being able to react and change things.

Under a cloudy sky,
no sunbeam can break through and shine,
until the rain will fall
to purify all that remains.

When everything seems so black, there's a light that shines, always, behind you.
She is there for you.
All she wants is to enlighten you,
to show, once again,
the beauty you hid long ago.

There will be a glimpse of light,
just someone who has always been by your side.
